Important Information Regarding Flu Shots

Members covered by Medical Mutual under the GCADA Group Health Plan will be eligible this year for reimbursement of up to $20.00 on a flu shot vaccination. 

It has been repeatedly shown the personal and workplace costs of lost time due to “the flu bug” are not only expensive (to employers and employees) but easily avoided.

• People who get the flu miss 4-7 days of work.
• 60 million+ Americans will get the flu this year.
• The easiest way to prevent the flu is with a flu shot (up to 90% effective).

You may receive your flu vaccine from Be Well Solutions or any other provider, including local clinics, drug stores, etc. Please Note: The doctor’s office visit charge may not be covered. Members cannot receive a reimbursement on a flu shot that is billed to Medical Mutual directly by their provider.

Be Well Solutions, a local physician-owned wellness company, will bring flu shots on-site to you and your employees. They offer turn-key event planning and customized materials. Give BWS a call at (216) 378-0888, provide a date & a time and they will take care of the rest.  

You must obtain and submit a PAID receipt AND the voucher for reimbursement. Please attach your receipt to the enclosed voucher and send them to the GCADA Group Health Department.
